The Lipstick And Blusher Pairs

Finding the right blusher to pair with your lipstick and knowing which shade of blush to wear with certain lipsticks without taking the attention away from your lips can be quite tricky. Your blusher doesn't have to match your lipstick shade at all and I rarely pick my blush to match my lipstick, unless I'm wearing a dark lippy. However, after testing out different products together, there are definitely some blushers which compliment lipsticks perfectly and just work really well together. With some peaches, rose golds, corals and neutrals, here are my 'matchy, matchy' blusher and lipstick pairs...

Clinique Cheek Pop in Berry Pop & Estēe Lauder Pure Envy Lipstick in Pink Parfait: With a blush as bright and poppy as this, a pink shimmer lipstick is ideal. Pink Parfait is quite a pale pink and matches almost every blusher out there, but works the best with this one. The lipstick is quite intense but incredibly hydrating and comfortable to wear, and Berry Pop, well it's just the most beautiful blush in terms of packaging, colour and finish.

NARS Deep Throat Blush & Lipstick Queen Chinatown Pencil in Pink Bluff: Deep Throat is just one of the best blush shades out there, since receiving a sample of it, I've worn it so much and love testing out different ways to apply it and what shades to wear it with. I find with a nude lipstick, this is really lovely, Velvet Teddy is a great match but as it is quite a pinky blush, I find a pink nude is more suited. Pink Bluff is the pink nude you all need and these lip pencils, you also all need! Paired together these give a really fresh finish, perfect for the Spring and Summer.

MAC Well Dressed Blush & By Terry Baume De Rose Lip Gloss: This is probably one of my all time favourite, most used blushers I have and I absolutely love how it is such a simple pink, but still perks up my cheeks. You can kind of wear any lipstick with this blush actually, I mix between nudes and coral shades but recently I have been wearing it with my By Terry gloss' for a light shine.

Gosh Rose Whisper Blush & MAC Lipstick in Rebel: In the A/W  love wearing dark lipsticks and with dark plum lipsticks, you can't wear anything too pink or bright on the cheeks as you want the focus to remain on the lips. The perfect blush for this is a really neutral, muted shade and rose whisper is perfect as it's matte and because it is isn't at all pink or shimmery, you can pair it up with any dark lipstick. Red, purples, plums, this one has got your covered.

Sleek Rose Gold Blush & Lancome LAbsolu Rouge Lipstick in Coral Ardent: Despite looking really bright in the case, this blush actually gives a really lovely pop of colour to the cheeks and doesn't come off as harsh as it looks. The rosy-coral shade is a favourite blush colour of mine and I love how highlighting it is. A coral lipstick is the perfect match for this and something shimmery like my Lancome is ideal.

NARS Super Orgasm Blush & No7 BB Lips in Blush Coral: With a blush as bright and shimmery as super orgasm, you want to keep the lips pretty natural and instead of a matte or shimmer lipstick, I prefer to wear something super sheer and moisturising. A coral gloss is perfect as it goes really well with the gold particles and keeps everything looking fresh and natural.
