The Best Ever Lip Gloss Dupe
It's fair to say that I haven't always been a lip gloss girl, it wasn't until my discovery of the By Terry Baume De Rose lip gloss' and a bit of Clarins, I've been converted. The sticky gloopy gloss days have been forgotten and I'm all for the full on nourishing, wash of colour and shine gloss. The
Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors revolutionised the lip gloss world and with 6 shades available, there is everything from the perfect pinks, to the corals you all need for spring and a a few essential nudes, Clarin's have got perfected the gloss and have created the only lipgloss you will ever need. These really are the best of them all, I am yet to try anything that beats them - (By Terry comes close) With these you've got to see past the lip gloss label we all hate - sticky, tacky and of course the whole lipgloss + hair + wind issue and think shine, colour, moisture and simply lip perfection in a squeezy tube with a mouth watering vanilla smell. Having bigged these up to the max and naming them 'the best of them all', NO7 actually have the perfect dupe and I'm talking NARS / Sleek blush perfect.
The No7 BB Lips are identical in almost every way to the Clarins lip perfectors. The only difference being the Clarins foam applicator. I like to call these the twin tubes. No7 have released 6 shades of these tinted lip gloss'; pinks, corals and nudes each of which match the Clarins shades perfectly. Both glosses give a sheer wash of shine and add a hint of colour to the lips, keeping everything natural and beautiful. The No7 BB lips are creamy, moisturising and highly nourishing, for the Spring these are perfect to swipe on and if I'm having a 'no makeup, makeup' day I will go for these every time. Packed in a similar squeezy tube these balm like creamy glosses are a dream. For a drugstore gloss they aren't sticky in the slightest, keep my lips hydrated and have a surprisingly good lasting power. My favourite of the shades is Blush Coral, a peachy coral, perfect for a fresh spring makeup menu paired with a cream coral blush. Oh yes. Adding a every day subtle tint of colour, these are definite 'my lips but better' products and honestly are an outright perfect dupe for the Clarins Lip Perfectors. Only they are £8.50 not £18.50... or £15.80 on Escentual. Smear on those non-sticky glosses girls ready for fresh spring makeup...
