The Classic Collection: Blushers
This was probably the hardest category of my Classic Collection to choose from as not until recently had I actually found a drugstore blusher that competes with my high end picks! I am so in love with NARS, Clinique and Benefit blushers that I never wanted to try drugstore ones as I just knew they wouldn't be as good. However, here comes the game changer. I've seen many good reviews of the Sleek blushers and so for Β£4.99 I thought I had better try them, I picked up the shade Rose Gold and boy was I impressed...
First of all the selection of colours Sleek offer is incredible, from light and dark pinks to peaches to oranges, there is a shade for everyone an the Sleek counter. The formula, longevity, finish and consistency really does match up to my high end picks and I would say many of them are great dupes for NARS blushers. The shade Rose Gold is a beautiful rosy pink with gold shimmer running through it, giving my cheeks that pretty glow. If you're looking for affordable blushers then I would definitely recommend these little beauties!
For the high end pick, I love my NARS and Clinique blushers equally so was struggling on which one to put here. After going through all the pros of each one, I decided on Clinique Cheek Pop as that is the one I have been wearing the most recently. This beautiful flower blush is the perfect bright pink shade for a really natural flush of colour, the kind of colour that looks like you've been out in the fresh air! The light, bouncy formula's feel slightly creamy but when applied they set to a powder finish. Coming in 4 shades, Berry Pop is a favourite of mine and Ginger Pop on my wish list!
