5 Products For Clear & Clean Skin

With so many products and brands on the market promising to give you clear, luminous, blemish free skin, it can be overwhelming to know what works, what doesn’t and what you should be using in your routine. Below, are some of the products and ingredients that I use regularly and rely on for maintaining healthy, even, soft and radiant complexion.

Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask*

As someone who doesn’t have an oily complexion or suffer from regular breakouts, I don’t reach for a mud mask often but when I do, it is always from one of my must trusted skincare brands; Omorovicza. Having previously used their Ultra MoodMud mask, I am now trialing the Deep Cleansing Mask which works on drawing out impurities whilst re-energising, brightening and evening out skin tone.

I aim to reach for this about once a week, when my skin feels congested or I have some blemishes and it instantly calms any redness. It’s got a very thick, creamy texture that feels cooling upon application and remains wet on the skin, ensuring it doesn’t dry and become stuck to the skin which can be tough to remove. It’s enriched with healing waters and mineral infused muds from Hungary’s famous thermal lake, calcium, zinc, magnesium and copper which are all powerhouse ingredients for busting blemishes and giving skin a deep clean.

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel*

This has been a long standing favourite cleanser of mine that I find myself going back to time and time again for it’s unique gel to oil formula that melts away makeup and high-tech natural ingredients that feed the skin. The peachy gel is made up of Pumpkin Enzymes to dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells that stick to the skins surface and making skin appear dull, Vitamin A to improve any pigmentation, C and E to protect against free radical and environmental damage and fortify the skin, Starflower Oil which is a potent source of Omega 6, an essential fatty acid that keeps skin nourished and Oskia’s signature MSM that detoxifies, soothes reduces inflammation. I use this daily to remove my makeup and in addition to melting away impurities and products, the Pumpkin Enzymes leave my skin feeling looking luminous and feeling incredibly soft and clean. Omorovicza Acid Fix*

I haven’t used many at home acid treatments but after adding this into my routine, I needn’t try any more. It’s the holy grail product to answer all ‘glow’ woes and is guaranteed to make skin look ‘agelessly luminous’ and the most divinely magical product to use that makes you look and feel as though you’ve just had a facial. The star ingredients that make this product so great, is the potent blend of alpha and beta hydroxy acids. Your Alpha’s (AHA’s) such as glycolic and lactic work exfoliating skins surface and your Beta’s (BHA’s) such as salicylic, works at smoothing and treating/preventing blemishes by balancing our skins sebum production.

The purpose of this acid treatment is to exfoliate, peel, resurface, brighten and plump (sold yet?) which can all sound a little intimidating but, this product does it in the purest, gentlest way with no irritation, sensitivity caused. Along-side the acids, Omorovicza’s Healing Concentrate is included to firm, Australian caviar lime extract perfects skins appearance and Sodium hyaluronate delivers deep moisture and prevents dehydration, helping skin retain high moisture levels. Oskia Get Up & Glow Serum*

If your skin wasn’t glowing enough already from all of the above, amp it up some more with an energy boosting serum. This is one of my favourite serums and products from Oskia as it helps achieve exactly how I want my skin to look and feel; hydrated, plum and bright. Lightweight but packing a serious punch from it’s powerhouse ingredient list (MSM, Swiss Apple Stem Cells and Milk Peptides) the benefits of this are pretty much instant - helping skin look more ‘peachy’ and alive in the morning that lasts throughout the day. Another product that is suitable for all skin types, whether you are dry and dehydrated or blemish prone.

Skin Ceuticals C E Ferulic*

I’ll be surprised if there comes a time when I stop using and singing the praises of this bottle of magic. Featuring an antioxidant combination of 15% pure Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), 1% Vitamin E (alpha tocopherol) and 0.5% Ferulic acid, this is the ultimate ingredient combination to enhance protection against environmental damage, fight against fine lines, loss of firmness and keep skin looking clear, even and bright. At 23, some may think it’s not necessary to use a product with these benefits but I’m a true believe in prevention over cure and love to use ingredients that are going to keep my skin looking young and healthy for longer. I use this every morning as it’s incredibly thin and fast absorbing. It’s the first step in my routine and let it sink in for 1-2 minutes before applying my other serums and creams on top.
