Currently Testing | Clinique

Here comes another new little section that you'll see pop up on my blog every now and again, it's the 'currently testing' time and each time I'm testing some new products, they'll be featured in a post like this with a mini review and first impressions. I'll keep the introduction short n sweet, so we can get into the good stuff, but I've been loving Clinique as a brand recently and have had a few things on my list to try for a while now so I thought it was time to put them to the test and see if they live up to the hype they carry around with them... 

I've always been a fan of cream eye shadow sticks, but stayed loyal to my favourite Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks for a very long time, but when shopping the other day, I decided it was time to try something different to see how they compare. I picked up one of the Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint For Eyes in Lavish Lilac which is a beautiful soft metallic violet-y/purple shade. Despite the top falling off when I opened it, I am actually really impressed with the product and have loved the finish each time I wear it. The creamy, blend-able formula is super duper quick and easy to apply with fingers or a brush, and they come with the most amazing lasting power that does not budge all day. These are the ultimate eye stick for any occasion with an array of shades available. 

Serum's are something I have really been getting into recently and have been finding different ones to try until I find the one that makes all the different and transforms my skin. Clinique recently released a new serum, which I was dying to try and when I saw that InStyle magazine were giving away samples this month, I jumped at the chance and picked one up straight away. The Smart Custom Serum is a product that will change the appearance of your skin and your skins future in terms of how it ages and develops. Packed with active ingredients, this light weight product is meant to be applied both morning and evening before moisturiser to reduce the appearance of fine lines, soothe out any imperfections, refresh and firm your skin with a boost of radiance. After using this every day now, I can really see a difference in the way my skin feels and looks, I am bursting with brightness in the mornings and soothed and hydrated over night.
