Nail Favourites #2

As you all know I love a freshly painted nail and have been wearing mostly greys and neutral shades at the moment, but with valentines day coming up I wanted to share with you some of the pink polishes I think would be suitable for the occasion and just the shades I wear if I go for a bright pink nail in summer.

When it comes to valentines day, having glamorous makeup and pretty nails is a must for me. I always like to have my nails painted anyway, but switch up my colour on the 14th Feb. Now wearing hot, bright pinks on my nails isn't something I usually go for, even in summer I often lean towards peachy pinks or a mix of pastel shades but after rummaging through my nail varnish pot, I picked out my favourite pinks and ones that I will test out more. Starting with the bright shocking pinks we have 

Nails Inc in Flamable (swatch 1) and Gorman Talons in 12 (swatch 3) which are very in your face yet easy to wear and look lovely with a tan. The other shades are more dark raspberry pinks which are a little more easy on the eye and can be worn all year around. My stand out dark pinks are Clinique in Hi Sweetie (swatch 2), Nails Inc in Monmouth Street (swatch 4) and Dior in Blazing Pink (swatch 5).
