Neutral A/W Blushers
Neutral blushers are a staple item in Autumn/Winter makeup and many brands use this to their advantage by adding some more shades to their blush range each year. I find neutral blushers really easy to wear and I love that whether you're wearing a red, berry or pink lip, this shade of blush will compliment any lipstick or eye shadow colour. This Autumn and Winter I have been reaching for 3 neutral blushers and here they are.
I've spoken about my love for Benefit Eye Shadows in my Perfect Palette post here and now it's time to tell you about my love for their blushers. The blusher I'm talking about today is the shade Dallas, a dusty rose/plum brown which gives beautiful natural colour and glow to your cheeks. Benefit blushers are really pigmented and I find they last all day without rubbing off and ending up looking muddy. This is probably my favourite of the 3 blushers as it is just so easy to wear with any make up look. (This Dallas palette is no longer available but you can buy Dallas individually)
If you're after a budget buy blusher, then go get your hands on the Gosh Blush in Rose Whisper. At Β£7.99, this is the most natural of any neutral blushers. The rosy/brown powder is so subtle you can wear it with whatever look you are going for, smokey eye or a gold eye, or even a red lip! I sometimes will use this as a contour shade as it's really cool toned and adds that extra definition I'm after.
A well loved product of mine, MAC Blush in Well Dressed. This is a soft pale pink blush which gives such beautiful and natural colour to your cheeks. It's the kind of blusher that makes you look like you've just been outside in the fresh air! This blush looks amazing with a dark berry lip, but compliments a nude also.
