Jurlique Herbal Recovery Advanced Range:
I've always been a huge fan of Jurlique skincare and have used their Rose Hydration range for a couple of years now but I've recently been introduced into their Herbal Recovery range which has been specially designed to diminish fine lines and protect your skin from the early signs of ageing with their potent blend of botanicals and antioxidants. The Herbal Recovery Advanced Eye Serum* is one of my favourite eye serums to use as it's incredibly light and is enriched with their exclusive Naturevive PB18+ complex that helps to reduce fatigued eyes, the appearance of dehydration and fine lines. Also on rotation is the Jurlique Herbal Recovery Advanced Day Cream*, the newest product in the range and a powerful anti-ageing moisturiser that targets dull skin and rejuvenates it's youthful glow. Featuring a blend of over 18 botanicals, the Herbal Recovery Cream has a key ingredient of Japanese Cedar Bud which claims to help give you visibly younger looking skin as it's got a powerful "smoothing effect" that helps to boost your glow.
Serums:
I'm a sucker for injecting as much moisture into my skin as I can and find using serums are the best for this. This beautifully luxe pink bottle of Suqqu Moisture Essence* is perfect for intensely hydrating with it's unique ingredient of Ginger Leaf Extract and also combats skins elasticity, improving my skins texture. For a dose of anti-oxidants and Vitamin C, I'm using the Medik8 C-Tetra Serum*, a revolutionary product in my routine. It's a lovely thin clear serum that feels rich and oily on the skin, visibly boosting radiance.
Creams:
Fresh is one of my favourite brands for skincare and the brand that's products look good, smell good and actually work. The one skincare product I've been using non-stop for almost 3 months now, is the Fresh Rose Hydration Cream*. If you're into anything that smells like a bed of roses, then you need to try this cream. It's deeply hydrating and a pot of goodness for the skin with moisturising ingredients such a Rosewater and Plum seed oil that boost skins luminosity and add a layer of hydration that keeps skin supple all day. My skin needs all the moisture it can get in the cold weather and something like the Glossier Priming Moisturiser is perfect for smoothing out my complexion, adding a dose of hydration and prepping my skin for makeup going on top.
Oils:
Face oils are my go-to product for dewy, hydrated and youthful looking skin, I use them in my morning and evening routine to add an extra step of luxury in and the Kiehl's Daily Reviving Concentrate is my one stop product for a radiant, revived and awake looking complexion that glistens with glow. I apply this in the mornings when my skin is looking dull and tired and instantly, my skin is renewed. With anti-oxidant protection from the powerful blend of Ginger Root, Sunflower Oil and Tamnu Oil, skin looks energised, feels refreshed and is protected from environmental aggressors our skin is faced with, each day.
Cleansers:
Glossier's Milky Jelly Cleanser is just what my skin needs for the Autumn and Winter months. It's a super light, gentle formula that removes all makeup and dirt from the skin, leaving a soft radiant complexion. With rosewater to soothe and hydrate and polyaxmer to cleanse, it's great for all skin types and does what it says on the bottle. Another cleanser I've been using lately that is a little richer than Glossier, is my Monu Skin Gentle Cleanser*. Monuskin is a new brand I've been testing and the cleansing cream is what really stood out to me. Containing Rose, Geranium, Coconut and Peach oils, it is incredibly calming, soothing and restores moisture, keeping my skin balanced and regulated.
Masks:
I'm always on the look out for new masks and love anything that hydrates, soothe and brightens so the Fresh Peony Brightening Mask* is one of the best in my collection. This joyous pot of glow is an overnight mask which significantly brightens my complexion after one use and leaves my skin feeling super hydrated, soft and luminous. It's key ingredients include peony, liquorice, vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid, all helping to retain moisture, even skin tone and brighten. Detox masks sit amongst my favourites too as I find they are the best way to clear up my skin when I have blemishes, reduce redness and just give my skin a good deep clean. Goldfaden MD is another one of my new favourite skincare brands and I've been relying on their Facial Detox Mask* to bring my skin back to normal and kept my skin looking renewed and clear. I've been using this once or twice a week just on the areas that feel congested and let the grapefruit seed oil and raspberry fruit extract work their magic on pulling out all impurities and zapping any imperfections.
That's a wrap on my current A/W skincare additions! There's plenty of moisture, masks and powerful products that are keeping my skin incredibly hydrated and glow-y throughout the colder months.
