Top 3: Cheek Sticks

As the next chapter of my top 3 series, I'm talking through one of my favourite makeup products; cream cheek sticks. Quick and easy to apply and blend colour sticks that blend in beautifully for a natural glowing finish, they are the most multi-tasking of the products within my makeup collection and apart of my everyday makeup routine. I've tried a few of the 'mutliples', 'chubby sticks' and general cheek sticks from different brands, in different shades and all varying in finish from super glossy to balmy sheens and can now round up my top three, each with their own specialities.

NARS Multiples: The first of the cheek sticks I tried and one that still remains a favourite amongst my collection. The NARS Multiple is the original of the cheek-sticks and holds a creamy formula and sheer colour finish that blends effortlessly and seamlessly for a natural looking finish. I've picked this up in three shades now; Orgasm, NARS' classic colour and hero shade, a warm pink with a golden shimmer that adds a subtle highlight and catches the light beautifully. South Beach (as seen here) was my second shade, a warm shimmering apricot bronze that I apply towards the tops of my cheeks and blend in an upwards motion for a golden glow over my power bronzer. The last shade I have is Malibu, a pink-brown that can be used as a blush or in Summer, a warm deep bronze.

Glossier Haloscope Highlighter: My favourite form of highlighters come in cream or liquid form and this Glossier skincare + makeup in one number, has topped any highlighter I've ever tried. Think a balmy, glowy texture with a hydrating oil core that creates a beautiful glossy dewy effect on the skin that boosts an intense yet natural sheen that never looks glittery nor shimmery, simply like skin. What makes the Glossier highlighters stand out over any other is their skincare ingredients of Vitamin E, Coconut oil and Sweet Almond oil to ensure complexions remain hydrated and moisturised. I use the shade Moonlight on a daily basis and whether worn alone on bare skin or over makeup, it melts in seamlessly for a lit from within look.

Rosie for Autograph Starstruck Cheeksticks*: If its good enough for Rosie, its good enough for me. Seriously, these cheek sticks have completely won me over with their sheeny, buttery formulas that have the glossiest and dewiest finish. I have these sticks in two shades, Rose; a beautiful soft muted pink which works well with a bronze makeup look and a neutral eye and Pink Shine; a brighter shade with a light gold shimmer running through it that I buff into the skin for a no makeup, makeup look worn alone on the skin with a eyeliner flick and balmy lip.
