Hourglass Illume Sheer Trio

A brand that is well known for their soft powders and beautiful blushers have created a multi tasking, 3 in one palette that is ideal for applying on the go and when you have 5 minutes in the morning to add some colour to your face. The Illume Sheer Colour Trio face palette has you covered for bronzer, blush and highlight. This cream to satin finish palette includes the most luxurious feeling cream colours that glide and blend onto the face seamlessly, making your makeup look effortless and your skin look flawless.

I've been reaching for this versatile palette most mornings recently with it's ever so easy application and neutral colours that create the perfect everyday, natural makeup look, keeping my skin radiant throughout the day. Hourglass have created 3 very wearable shades, a bronzer that subtly bronzes and defines, giving you that sun kissed glow we crave, a gorgeous sheer rose blush that flatters all and a champagne highlight that gives a luminous glow without being too shimmery. To me, it's everything you need in a palette for the ultimate everyday face.

Cream formulations are my go to pick throughout the year as I much prefer the dewy, radiant and healthy look they give my skin and I find they last a lot longer on the face than when I opt for a powder blush / highlighter. Bronzers however, I do tend to stick with a powder as they appear more natural but for summer, this cream is ideal as it helps to enhance my tan and whilst adding a healthy dose of colour all over, it contours and sculpts the face; the perfect product for when going away! The blush, I've been wearing blended into the tops of my cheeks and also on the lips to bring out my natural lip colour and add in some depth whilst the champagne shade is great for doubling up as highlighter on the high points of my face, but also as a cream eye shadow. It's the perfect everyday shade that ties the neutral makeup look together but helps to brighten and make your eyes look more awake!
