A weekly round-up... let's talk bases that illuminate, protect and cover, the brow gel that lifts, shapes and defines, the product for textured, beach hair and a radiance boosting, skin energising instant face fix. Essentially, this is a mini monthly favourites. Every Sunday I will be uploading a 'Sunday Beauty Serial' post, where I will be rounding up the top 3-5 products I've loved and used consistently that week, whether it's a lipstick, body care, a candle or a nail polish.
Delilah Time Frame Future Resist SPF20 Foundation:
When trying different foundations and tinted moisturisers, if the coverage is there (good enough to cover any blemishes but light enough to look natural) it all comes down to how much it makes me glow as to whether I'll use it. I've been wearing the Delilah foundation for almost a month now and it's the perfect easy, everyday base that offers a build-able, natural coverage and a radiant, youthful glow. Containing Vitamin E and anti-oxidants, it's incredibly moisturising and with an SPF20, it's the perfect summer base.
I've been keeping my brows under control with my new favourite brow tamer, Gimme Brow. A tinted gel with a tapered tip for easy application and microfibres that stick to the hairs to create a fuller and thicker brow, giving definition and volume without making your brows feel crispy.
Since having my hair chopped, I've been going for messy, textured hair each day and have a few favourite sea salt sprays that help give me those beachy waves but the one I always come back to is Sachajuan. A mix of hairspray and salt water styling spray, it's beach hair in a bottle, giving grip, texture and hold to keep your hair tousled all day. I spray this onto my hair when damp and either rough blow dry it or let it dry naturally and both give me the perfect messy look.
Kiehl's Turmeric and Cranberry Masque:
I've been giving my skin all the TLC it can get lately and I've been doing all I can to keep it looking clear and energised. This Kiehl's mask is the perfect midweek pick me up, acting as a mask and exfoliator in one, giving an "instant facial". As the cranberry seeds gently exfoliate, the turmeric evens and brightens the skin tone for a smoother and more illuminated complexion.
