New Favourites

A new year calls for a routine shape up and I’ve got everything from texture gels for cool girl hair, multi acid tonics, the best glow boosting serum and a new cleanser that reveals feather soft like skin to talk to you about.

IGK Rich Kid

Recently, I noticed something was missing from my hair routine and I hadn’t found ‘the’ product that helped each of my hair desires - body and shine but with a smooth finish. This is when IGK RICH KID comes into play. Comprising of a blend of coconut oil and hair-nourishing natural agents, this thick gel formula with anti-oxidant rich ingredients such as lemongrass oil, provides hair with shine, hold, texture and hydration. I run a 20p piece size amount through towel dried hair, from root to tip and either let air dry or blow dry for the ultimate undone, cool girl finish.

REN Perfect Canvas Oil Jelly Cleanser*

There’s a new cleanser on the block from one of my favourite skincare brands and I am totally hooked. Featuring a blend of grape, sunflower and meadow-foam seed oils, REN have created a thick gel cleanser that smells divine and transforms into a silky oil when massaged into the skin, helping to leave skin feeling silky soft and makeup free.

Oskia Get Up and Glow Serum*

This is one of my all time favourite serums that I’ve recently re-introduced into my routine and I forgot how much of a glow this divine pearlescent serum gives. Formulated with milk peptides and light reflecting particles, it instantly brightens once pressed into the skin whilst Oskia’s signature MSM and Swiss Apple Stem Cells boost collagen production and fight free-radicals, helping to prolong the life of healthy cells which over time, will improve skins texture and long-lasting radiance. I apply this is in the mornings and it acts as the perfect glow-booster for the day, shining through my tinted moisturiser beautifully.

Skin Ceuticals C E Ferulic Acid*

I’m a true believer that along-side Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C is the second most important ingredient to be using in your skincare and this very special concentrate from SkinCeuticals, is giving me a clearer and firmer complexion than anything has ever before. C E Ferulic features a combination of 15% vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), 1% vitamin E and 0.5% ferulic acid, all helping to protect against environmental damage and improve the appearance of small fine lines. I use this every morning along-side my Oskia serum and my skin hasn’t been more happy with a serum combination.

Glossier Solution*

I always use a chemical exfoliator as unlike physical scrubs that can be too harsh or abrasive on the skin, AHA’s break down the bonds between dead skin-cells in a much gentler way, working at loosening the bonds to reveal a far more luminous and healthy looking complexion. I was introduced to Glossier’s exfoliating skin perfector earlier this year and it’s blend of 3 acid groups - AHA, BHA and PHA creates a recipe of dreams for revealing better skin. I use this 3x a week to keep blemishes obey and my complexion clear and smooth.

Sunday Riley Auto Correct Eye Cream*

I think eye cream is one of those products that can take a while to find one you really love and is a product that’s really important you get along with. I’ve tried textures I don’t like and creams that don’t work but Sunday Riley’s Brightening and DePuffing Eye Contour Cream is a true delight to use. Formulated with caffeine, ginseng root, watermelon extract, cocoa butter and horse chestnut, it’s oozing with ingredients that are going to brighten and perk up the eye area but also smooth and calm tired looking eyes.

Skin Ceuticals SPF 50*

It’s true what peoples say about Skin Ceuticals SPF’s - utterly divine and like no other in the market. With a super light weight, fast absorbing formula they glide onto the skin, causing no disruption to anything I’ve got on beneath or put on top and is comfortable to wear all day long. I’ve got a detailed blog post on why you should be wearing SPF here so I won’t go into too much detail but finding one that works well for you is vital as you’ve got to enjoy wearing it all year round, not just when the sun is shining. Cloud or rain, SPF is the one product to be wearing, whether it’s a stand-alone product like this, or included in your moisturiser.
