Three New Beauty Brand Favourites

There is nothing better than moving into Summer with some new beauty products sitting on top of my makeup storage and I've been trialling some fantastic new products from Rodial, a buttery lip number from Perricone MD and a bunch of newness from It Cosmetics that has just landed here in the UK.

RODIAL

For a brand that are primarily known for their luxe skincare line, Rodial also have a pretty spectacular makeup line, featuring lip products, air brushing bases, beautiful blushes and an amazing set of bronzers, contours and powders. Introducing two new products to their makeup line, we have the Contour Powder in DARK* and the Banana Powder*, both essential products to add into with the growth of contouring. The new Instaglam Compact Deluxe Banana Powder is a yellow setting powder, suiting a number of skin tones to help set under eye makeup, correct redness, brighten the complexion and to help you perfect your contour. This luxe powder helps to keep my makeup on all day without giving a powdery look or caking on my skin. It's the perfect Summer makeup bag addition and works beautifully over foundation or tinted moisturiser for flawless looking skin! Having been an avid user of the original Contour powder, Rodial's DARK addition is perfect for those summer, sun kissed skin days once I've caught a tan and am looking to add in some definition on holiday.

IT COSMETICS

Having very excitingly recently launched on QVC, It Cosmetics focus on creating problem solving makeup and skincare products to provide us with products that make us feel fabulous and at our best, everyday. Introduced to the range with some of their best sellers, I've been testing a number of products that have made their way into my makeup routines, whether I'm going for a light  fresh look or need some serious under eye concealing. Starting with their Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer*, this is a full coverage concealer treatment that targets fine lines, wrinkles and discolouration. The thick formula, warms up once on the skin to then blend out to a lightweight, fresh looking finish that diminishes the appearance of tired eyes, helping to lift the eye area. I also go in with this around my nose and on any blemishes that I have as it has an amazing amount of coverage, that stays put all day.  Another of my favourites from the It Cosmetics beauty range is the Brow Power Pencil Duo*, a thin, easy to use brow pencil that lightly fills in the brow, adding shape, definition and helping to achieve a fuller looking brow. Following my brows with the Hello Lashes* 5 in 1 mascara, I've got bold brows and eyes that are open and long, full lashes. Hello Lashes instantly curls and adds volume to the lashes and has a long lasting formula that doesn't fade or drop. To add a natural flush of colour to my complexion, I've been dusting a light application of the Vitality Cheek Colour in Radiant in Rose* (applies more pink than the colour in the pan) which adds a healthy flush of colour to the cheeks.

PERRICONE MD

To bring back the colour in my lips, add in some hydration, plump my lip shape and protect my lips, I've been smudging in a light layer of the No Lipgloss Lipgloss* from Perricone MD, a beautifully formulated light balmy gloss that stains the lip without drying and adapts to your natural lip colour to create the perfect lip shade for you. Despite falling into the lip gloss category, this is much more a balm than a gloss and doesn't at all have a glossy finish, in terms of finish and feel, it's very similar to the Clarins Instant Light Perfectors, just more pigmented and lasting. A light lip gloss as such, is the perfect summer lip as it's hydrating and nourishing, yet still adds a tint of colour without looking too glossy.

Have you tried anything from Rodial, It Cosmetics or Perricone MD? What are your favs?
