June Makeup Menu
My makeup throughout May and June has pretty much stayed the same; a dewy base topped with bronzer and highlighter paired with nude eye and lip, quick and easy. I’ve been mixing between BECCA and Hourglass and things have been looking pretty creamy on the product front, lots of bronze and a few pops of peach to brighten the look.
Keeping stuff all things glowy, I’ve been applying a BECCA Opal Liquid highlighter underneath the BECCA Aqua Luminous Foundation for added luminosity and longevity. I’ve ditched the beauty sponge for now and am back using my trusty Real Techniques Buffing Brush which blends product into the skin, in seconds. My eye area struggles to look awake in the mornings so I rely on the ReCover concealer to block out any dark circles and brighten around the eye. It’s thick but creamy and seamlessly blends into the skin.
I’m still using my favourite everyday natural bronzer from Delilah which I dust over the contours of my face with a Real Techniques MultiTech XL Brush. For blush, it’s all about peach tones and my BECCA Beach Tint in Grapefruit adds the perfect amount of colour. To finish off the base, I tap on my favourite highlighter; Perricone MD No Highlighter, Highlighter* under the brow bone, cheek bones and down the bridge of my nose. The soft glow this highlighter provides is perfect for everyday radiance.
For a soft nude lip, I've been using Charlotte Tilbury Bitch Perfect. This is the perfect everyday pale nude that pairs well with any makeup look, working for day and night. Before applying I apply a layer of lip balm to save my lips form becoming dry throughout the day and for a more precise line, I line with my favourite nude lip liner.
I've been keeping my eye shadow creamy like my base and the Laura Mercier Caviar Stock in Amythest is easy to apply in the mornings in seconds and stays put all day. Sticking to the neutral theme, I've been using Benefit They're Real Mascara in brown for a more subtle look.
