It's been about a month since I fell in love with the Avène Tolérance EXTRÊME range, a very simple, yet effective skincare line designed to bring our routines back to basics, focussing on just 4 products and 7 ingredients. After getting through two tubes of cleanser, a mask, cream and emulsion , I'm back with a post on my favourites from the range and why it's turned around my skin and my routine.

Before I was introduced to the Avène Tolerance Range, I would be switching up my routine by at least one product, every three weeks which was not at all very good for my skin and resulted in breakouts, dryness and an overall confused complexion. Taking my skincare back to basics with has taught me the importance of sticking up a routine for a long time as the results for my skin, are incredible. Throughout the 2 months I've been using Avène skincare, my skin has been incredibly hydrated, radiant looking and I haven't really had any blemishes or stress spots and it's helped to keep my skin balanced due to each product being water based and containing just 7 or less ingredients. 

The stand out products for me in the range were the Tolérance EXTRÊME Cleansing Lotion and Tolérance EXTRÊME Emulsion, both very simple yet effective products. The Cleansing Lotion is a perfect way to start the day, ensuring your complexion is fresh and clean before applying any skincare and makeup. In the evening, it's very cooling and hydrating but removes makeup with ease and leaves the skin looking refreshed and illuminated. I used the Emulsion daily as my day and night cream due to it's ultra light consistency that smooths over the face, sinking in beautifully without leaving a greasy residue, providing me with a moisturised base for makeup.
