A Beauty Haul

Shopping for new makeup is one way I love to spend my time, whether it's wandering the counters of Selfridges beauty hall, making online orders on SpaceNK or simply researching the current trends in magazines and online. As we moved out of January, I needed to update my makeup stash and add in some products to spruce up my everyday look with. Stepping into every beauty shop near me, I picked up some beautiful new staple items, a few newbies and a re purchase.

By Terry Light Expert Foundation: Luxury and innovate, each of By Terry's products are outstanding from the ingredients to the finish and this cult product is particularly wonderful. This beautifully brightening base is an ideal pick for complexions like mine, dehydrated and lacklustre, with a brush on top, it's perfect for on the go application but also for a quick morning blend. Blending in effortlessly and seamlessly, this is my current go to base on a day to day basis, the light formula creates an even canvas that glows without looking shiny and covers any blemishes with caking. I apply one pump blending in with my beauty blender and have an instantly lit from within finish that looks natural, yet flawless.

Dior Glow Maximiser Primer: To really give my skin a glow boost, I need a hydrating and radiant primer. i'm a huge fan of using a primer, I really believe they create a much smoother and even complexion to apply foundation too and everything blend on much easier when wearing one. The Dior primer is the newest to my collection and by far my favourite, it's the most radiance boosting primer I've tried and whilst it brightens the complexion beautifully, it doesn't appear greasy or shiny.

Rosie For Autograph Nude Minky Lipstick: Having been on the search for the perfect everyday nude for months now, I've finally found the one that is perfect in colour, finish and formula. Nude Mink is a very neutral shade with a slight peach undertone, but nothing that will wash out a fair complexion.  The shade itself is incredibly wearable and natural looking, whether it's for a daily makeup look or to keep your evening look looking sophisticated. The formula is very creamy and blend-able, giving you the option to layer up the colour or keep it bare.

Rosie For Autograph Almond Eyes Eye Shadow Stick: Eye shadow sticks are the easiest way to quickly apply a wash of colour to the lid without having to spend time blending and layering up colours. Almond eye is a beautiful champagne gold in a twist up style stick that smooths over the lid creating a stunning eye look that is long lasting.

Kevyn Aucoin Creamy Glow Duo: An absolute beauty essential, this creamy duo from Kevyn Aucoin is my all time favourite beauty product and a must have all year around. Streamlined into a creamy contour and highlight in one, it's an ideal on the go product that is easy to blend and top up throughout the day. The velvet formulas are long lasting and blend beautifully onto the skin without moving any products underneath, they work well buffed in with a brush or even blended in with fingers for a more natural look. The candelight highlight creates a subtle ethereal glow where needed and helps lift the face whereas the cool tone sculpting shade adds in definition and creates a natural contour.
