January Beauty Favourites

I can't really believe we are one month into the year already and I am sat at my desk writing my first monthly favourites of the year. Within my 2015 Beauty and Skincare favourites I spoke about all the products I've loved throughout 2015 from lipstick, to cleanser and face oils. With a new year, I've picked up some new products but have also been using some old favourites that I've re discovered, all as fabulous as each other.

By Terry Light - Expert Click Brush | £48 | If theres one product category I love investing in and trailing out new products for it's the base. The key to healthy looking skin is having an effective skincare routine but having a good foundation to put on top will just enhance your natural skin that little more and make everything appear luminous and even. By Terry is a brand I've admired for years, the products are so beautiful and the thought and ingredients that goes into each one is incredible. The Light Expert Click Brush foundation made it's way into my routine mid January and has been a game changer. The pump action bottle make application a breeze, the light fluid formula simply pumps out the top where you can then dab it onto the face where you need coverage and buff it in, in small circular motions.

The foundation is incredibly liquid-y, making it a dream to blend and ensuring everything is smooth within seconds. The coverage is very light, feeling more like a tinted moisturiser than a foundation and the scent itself, is fruity and fresh. For a more flawless finish, I finish the look off by patting my beauty blender over my face to seamlessly press it into the skin. The finish is ideal for my dehydrated skin that is lacking a glow this winter, with a luminous, radiant effect, my skin appears healthy and natural.

Estee Lauder Brush on BB Glow | £24.50 | I've been reaching for an old favourite concealer this month as have been after a formula that blends beautifully with the By Terry foundation and the Estee Lauder Brush on Glow is the perfect match with it's light blend-able formula that brightens the eye whilst covering dark circles. Patted into the skin with my beauty blender, the base is looking flawless and perfected.

DHC Double Protection Mascara* | £14.50 | Finding a mascara that really wows me takes a lot these days, I'm a huge lover of my YSL Baby Doll but am always looking for a new one to try out. This petite tube from DHC is a great everyday mascara, the small brush applies a light coating of mascara to the eye whilst curling and adding some volume to the roots.

& Other Stories Eye Make Up Remover | £5 | I'm not usually one to use an eye make remover as I tend to go straight in with cleanser on my eyes and use that all over however when using a balm or oil cleanser, I avoid using it in my eyes so that's when an eye makeup remover comes in handy. This & Other Stories tub really does do the job, I've been using it since Christmas and the formula is just ideal. I find some can be too oily and leave a greasy film over my eye area but this is perfect, it really works at getting off my eye makeup without stingy my eyes or leaving oils. A new favourite edition to my evening routine before going in with cleanser!

The White Company Winter Candle | £20 | January has been a big candle month for me, I received lots for Christmas and picked up some more from NEOM in January but my all time favourite candle brand is The White Company and throughout January, I've had the christmas candles burning at my desk and bed. Starting with Fir & Berry, I've managed to burn all the way through it, I'm now burning my favourite ever scent; Winter, a clove, orange and deliciously christmas smelling scent that fills a room with warmth and a homely feel. Next to burn is, White Christmas!
