Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan

You probably all think I'm a total tan addict these days and you're right, I am. As soon as the sun comes out and I'm finding myself reaching for dresses on a daily basis then all I want is a golden tan without having to fly to Spain. I used to be an avid user of the St Tropez Tanning Mousse and didn't think anything would beat it but when I found out there was something on the market for more than half the price, I was keen to give it ago. This is when Cocoa Brown Tan first entered my beauty world and it hasn't left ever since. Kick starting my obsesseion for the brand with the 1 Hour Tan, I fell in love but wanted something that I could apply and just leave so went and picked up a bottle of the Gentle Bronze and now I'm back, with a new purchase of the brand new 1 Hour Tan Mousse DARK. Exactly the same as the original best selling tan mousse apart from the darker finish provided. Let's see what I thought...

I picked up a bottle of this in the week as I wanted something to give me an all over bronze for my birthday as it was going to be super duper hot and I was spending it in London, so wanted a tan. Oh how impressed I am with Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan Dark. The main reason I love this tan so much is due to how easy it is to apply. With a soft bouncy mousse, this glides onto the skin when used with a mitt and spreads evenly, coating you in 3 easy sweeps. I start at the bottom of my legs and work my way to top with this one as I find thats the order that works the best for me and if I'm after something super dark then I'll apply 2 layers all over. I just can't believe how easy this is too apply, none of the instant drying nonsense that makes it impossible to blend or the biscuit smell we all hate, Cocoa Brown have delivered something that is easy enough to apply for beginners, a deep enough colour for the dark tan lovers and a finish that lasts up to a week on the skin. It's love.

The mousse formula rubs in streak-free and I then leave it on for 3 hours so it can develop into something rich and golden. When it's ready to come off, I hop in the shower and have a rinse then pat my body dry to avoid rubbing any off. If I want something even more dark and am feeling crazy, then I'll leave it on over night and wash it off in the morning, oh so naughty. With a colour that lasted me 5 days and one that faded evenly without going patchy, overall I am so impressed with this tan and will be slathering on a few more layers tomorrow to give me a mid week glow.

Have you tried anything from Cocoa Brown?
