July Favourites
July has been a pretty good month for me in terms of new beauty discoveries, picking out new products, creating new looks and having a little shop my stash where I found some old favourites. Summer monthly favourite always make me more excited than A/W due to the light bases, glowing complexions and creamy cheeks, I adore S/S makeup so always have a good selection of favourites towards the end of the month. This month, I'm chatting to you about a bit of beauty, a new hair love, a life changing eye cream and an oil that will transform your skin into everything you've ever dreamed of...
Benefit Watt's Up: I've been really into my highlighters this past month and have been bringing some old favourites into the mix instead of buying new ones. I'm usually dabbing on High Beam all over my face but I much prefer gold champagne highlights in the Summer to really enhance that sun kissed skin look. Watt's Up is the perfect cream highlight stick for achieving that gorgeous golden glow. The soft champagne tints smooth onto the skin and create a luminous sheen that wow's. I've been wearing this alone for a no makeup look or on top of a luminising tinted moisturiser to bring out my inner glow.
YSL Full Metal Shadow In 04: For creamy metallic eyes that pop in colour and shine with sheen this has been my go to product. The ultra lightweight consistency blends beautifully onto the pre primed lids as a sheer wash of colour or a built up block of pure gold goodness. These shiny liquid eye shadows are packed full of pigmentation ensuring they last up to 16 hours and don't crease, smudge or budge.
DHC Perfect Pro Double Protection Mascara: A look I've been going for recently is a bare base with minimal hues on the cheeks and a coating of mascara, I find it really creates a focus on your eyes and appears super duper natural. For maximum length and curl, this is my go to guy. The thin wand strokes onto the lashes and coats them in a black liquid that adds a tonne of volume and definition. Luscious and long wearing, this pot of black magic doesn't flake or fade and stays on until you attack it with cleanser.
Malin and Goetz Rice Bran Eye Cream: If there's one product out there that reduces puffiness, zaps dark circles and waves good bye to a dry eye area then this is the one. Packed full of amino acids and rice bran, this rich yet light cream hydrates delicate eyes and bring them back to their normal state with no dry-ness or dark circles. Promoting capillary circulation, you can say goodbye to wrinkles and say hello you bright eyes that are firm and fresh.
Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil: I've ditched the night creams, ignored the serums and blocked out the treatments since this made it's way into my routine. Containing the highest concentrate of rosehip oil in any rose oil, you know it's going to be a good one. Pai have created a highly concentrated oil that is suitable for all skin types and targets redness, dry/dehydrated skin, dull complexions, blemish prone skins, oily skins and the most sensitive of skins. Due to the natural ingredients inside, skin is restored, replenished and rejuvenated overnight with this luxe oil that leaves you with a more youthful looking, radiant complexion.
Sexyhair Soy Renewal Argan Creme Oil*: To tame my locks and keep everything hydrated and soft, post shower and pre blow dry I smooth over a squidge of this to the ends to lock in moisture and to repair split ends. With a blissful scent of Argan oil, this is a dream to apply and works wonders. Think Argan oil in cream form - even richer and more intense. This is perfect for the thickets heads of hair and the finest compared to an oil which can make fine hair limp.
