Lazy Day Makeup With Dreaming Pretty
So first of all let me introduce myself, I'm Amanda from Dreaming Pretty. The lovely Jasmine asked me to do a guest post for her blog so of course I jumped at the chance as I absolutely love her blog. Jasmine pretty much gave me free reign on what to right as long as it was beauty related so I wanted to do something a little different and came up with this, my lazy day look. I have been having a lot of lazy days recently, just chilling out around the house, running a few errands...nothing too fancy and these have been the products that I've been reaching for.
For my primer I have been using Dior Glow Maximiser, this packs a real highlighting punch. One pump is enough to suffice for the whole face and it just gives the most beautiful lit from within effect. I also use this mixed into foundations and as a highlighter for the cheeks bones etc on top of my makeup. I am a massive fan of the dewy finish and I know Jasmine loves her highlighters too so this is definitely a must.
Then for my base I have been using the Lancome Hydra Zen Tinted Moisturiser in shade 3. This stuff is super moisturising and really lightweight but is really well pigmented so helps to even out any redness or blemishes. This is perfect for those days when your're going out in public so need a little something on your face, enough not to scare the postman away, but you want something that's lightweight and doesn't feel cakey. Next, to take any shine away and to add a little warmth to my face I use the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder in shade 30. Now if you follow or read Dreaming Pretty then you will know how much love I have for this stuff. It's the perfect powder in my eyes, it helps to keep any shine at bay but doesn't mattify the skin. I have this shade and shade 40, shade 30 I use for all over the face and then shade 40 I use to contour. It doesn't sit on the skin and look cakey nor does it stick to any dry patches, it blends into the skin effortlessly and just helps to add a little extra warmth to the skin. Perfect for those lazy days. I love it.
Then lastly just to finish off I add a little swipe of the Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lip Color in shade Pink Pout. These lipsticks are really moisturising on the lips and are really well pigmented, this particular shade, Pink Pout, is the perfect girly pink shade. It just helps to brighten up the look and give it some colour when I am wearing a minimal base.
So they're the products that I always tend to reach for on those lazy days that I seem to be having quite a lot of recently.
I hope you enjoyed this post and thanks again to Jasmine for having me.
