Best In Beauty 2015

2015, the year of glossy skin, the year of Kylie Jenner lips and the year of contour. 2015 has been an exciting year for the beauty industry with plenty of new releases each month and some revolutionising new trends. Being a total beauty junkie, I’ve tried and tested many different products throughout the year, many I have fallen in love with and will be using forever and others I won’t be rushing back to use again any time soon. The beauty world is an exciting place to be apart of today with skin changing formulas and makeup that simply enhances your natural beauty. For me, 2015 was the year I really discovered the right products that work for me and the look I want to achieve; I became obsessed with glowy skin, champagne eyes, red lips and a tonne of highlight. To kickstart my 2015 Best In Beauty series, here’s a special mention to the brands that have changed my view on beauty, how I apply makeup today and how I look after my skin. .

Best Primer | Lancôme Hydra Glow |

Illuminating, hydrating and radiance boosting, this is a real skin treat which preps my skin beautifully before applying my favourite base. With a light scent and formula, this nourishes the skin whilst adding a lovely all over glow.

Best Foundation | Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder |

This youth boosting, lightweight formula is perfect skin in a bottle. Not only is this a perfect match for my skin tone, the formula blends in beautifully creating a soft focus effect that illuminates and hydrates.

Best Concealer | Rodial Airbrush Concealer* |

This ultra lightweight concealer is ideal for concealing under eye dark circles with it’s immense pigmentation and wax based formula.

Best Bronzer | NARS Laguna |

Simply, the best bronzer on the market. This natural cool toned bronzer sun kisses my skin, adding definition and a touch of colour.

Best Blush | Hourglass Ambient Light in Dim Infusion |

From the luxe gold packaging to the shimmering, ethereal glow these blushes give, (& the incredible lasting power) the Hourglass blush is a must have in all girls makeup bag.

Best Lip Liner | Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk |

The perfect my lips but better shade in a thin pencil that defines your lip, adding shape and the perfect pout!

Best Lip Stick | YSL Rouge Pur Couture 204 Rouge Scandal |

My most recent discovery but by far one of the best. A deep red that is incredibly matte but moisturises and hydrates along the way!

Best Lip Balm | Nuxe Reve De Miel |

Packed full of honey, grapefruit and shea butter this is an intensely hydrating balm that repairs, protects and soothes adding a natural nude lip.

Best Nail Polish | Formula X

Even application, long lasting colour and a huge colour choice, these are a new 2015 find but a great one!

Best Contour & Highlight | Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight & Sculpting Creamy Glow Duo #4 |

This dreamy duo is perfect for adding soft definition into the hollows of your cheeks and amping up the glow on the tops of your cheek bones, brow bone and cupids bow with it’s buttery formula. This is definitely my best beauty pick from 2015, I’ve gone through a whole pot, it’s time to repurchase!

Best Eye Shadow | Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise in Jean |

Cream eye shadows have been my thing this year and this is the perfect everyday natural shade that smooths over the lids and sits in place all day.

Best Brow | Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil |

The slanted tip of this pencil ensures precise application that naturally adds colour and shape into your brows. Neatened up with the spoolie and you've got the perfect bushy brow.

Best Mascara | Urban Decay Perversion Lashes

From length to volume and curl, this mascara does it all! With a thick black brush, lashes are left looking with curls that don’t drop.
