Inside My Muji Drawers

Since I've recently had a big clear through my makeup and chucked out a lot of stuff I didn't use any more or had just had for a long time, I needed something to store all my makeup in properly. I looked at a few options but since my uni halls have shelving, I decided Muji storage is the best option as I can have it all on the top shelf in drawers. I picked up the 2 set of drawers to start with to work out how much I could fit in and how many more drawers I would need. I'm always rotating the products in my drawers and on top of as I like to mix up my makeup every week so will tend to switch a blush/highlight and my base quite often. I stick to the same mascaras and brow products although I've recently picked up a new brow pencil which I need to add in!

Starting with the bottom drawer, this is where I keep all my eye and lip products, ranging from my favourite NARS Eye Primer to MAC lipsticks. I'm currently loving the Urban Decay Mascara, it really lengthens my lashes and give them drama whilst still looking natural. I always have my MAC Coffee Eye Pencil to hand just in case I want some added definition on the outer corner of my eye. Brow wise, I use the NARS Brow Gel every day to keep my hairs in place and sometimes brush through some Coconut Groove Shadow to give me more shape. I always have an eye palette in this drawer as I reach for eye shadow every day now and I'm currently mixing between NARS Dual Intensity Palette and my Bobbi Brown Warm Glow Palette, both have great transitional shades that can be taken from day to night. You'll also find a couple of eye shadow sticks for the lazy days, currently I have Chanel Caroube and YSL Full Metal in 04. Lip product wise, I keep a selection of bolds and nudes. MAC Rebel is a favourite A/W lipstick so this will be in here for the entire season, we also have NARS Marjella Lip Pencil as it's my favourite red, MAC Brick Lip Liner, Burberry Nude Kissing Lipstick for the everyday shade and a Lipstick Queen China Town Pencil.

The top drawer is my favourite and my most reached for, this is where I keep primers. foundations, concealers, BB creams, highlights, blush and contour. I'm always changing around this drawer as I love wearing a different blush each day and my base for the day varies on what I'm doing and how my skin feels but right now, I've got my Charlotte Tilbury Light wonder Foundation and the Iaso BB Cream. Both are incredibly light weight with a dewy finish and have a light, build able coverage. For concealer, I keep my Laura Mercier Sceret Concealer which is for under eye and the Temple Spa Concealer Pen to brighten and lift my eye area. I also have my Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer in here as it's the ultimate multi tasker. For primer, I'm still using the Lancome Hydra Glow which works well under both bases. For blush, I keep my Hourglass Ambient Light, NARS Deep Throat, Kevyn Aucoin Tansoleil and a number of highlights including some MAC Cream Colour Base, Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight and Liquid Lightening.
