Weekly Favourites #8

It's time to round up my beauty favourites of the week for you again and this time, I have a coupe of new exciting products which I have been loving, and I think you will to. I'm still keeping things fresh with a light blush, simple eye and a balm to finish of the look but I've just been introducing myself to some different brands and colours, how exciting.

The newest and most exciting addition to my weekly makeup routine, is something the wonderful ViviannaDoesMakeup recommended to me when I met her (Ahhh) last week in Selfridges, Birmingham. It's an eye shadow, it's in cream form and it's from the most beautiful makeup brand: Chanel. The Chanel Stylo Fresh Effect Eye Shadow in 'Caroube' really is king of of eye shadow sticks. Released as part of there Summer 15 collection, these are perfect for an every day summer eye as the creamy formula has a refreshing and cooling effect when you apply it to your lid, leaving a natural fresh finish. I tend to swipe these on all over the lid and blend it out with my MAC 239 Brush as you do have about 15 seconds until these dry so you do have time to blend blend blend. A seriously good little product here, go grab it. I've never been a powder kinda girl and always used to avoid powdering my face as I wanted to be as glowing and radiant as possible but when I discovered the Bobbi Brown 'Finishing Nudes' Brightening Finish Powderthings have changed. A light dusting of this over my tinted moisturiser helps illuminate my skin giving it an all over glow, without looking powdery or mattifying my skin. The powder doesn't feel cakey or drying it is lightweight and fine, helping with luminosity and lasting power. For cheeks I've been reaching for some old favourites this week. For a super natural pink dusting then my NARS 'Deep Throat' Blush is perfect. The light pink shade brightens the apples of my cheeks and gives me some colour. If I'm going for a brighter pop of colour then my Clinique Cheek Pop in 'Berry Pop' is the one. The bouncy powder blends beautifully onto the skin without looking chalky or powdery and adds a really natural flush of colour with an almost creamy looking finish. As Summer comes I keep my lips as hydrated and moisturised as I can so they stay nourished, so I try to avoid any matte lipsticks unless I'm going out for the evening, but for an every day burst of colour and hydration, my Lipstick Queen Lip Pencil in 'Catalina' is perfect.

What have you been loving this week?
