Weekly Favourites #7
.... Aaaand another week has flown by. Not only does this mean we are well and truly in May, it means I have another bunch of beauty products I have been loving this week, some old, some new, there are some exciting products here that I can tell are going to be sticking by my side throughout May. Edited down to the top 5 products, here is what I have been digging these past 7 days...
Kicking things off with a nail varnish, we have Barry M Gelly Shine in Papaya- an old colour I've re discovered and have been wearing for the past 2 days. I'm all for coral shades in Spring so this is the perfect colour to add some tropical sun to my nails and brighten the day. Application and finish are both ideal, a smooth brush to coat my nails with a high shine finish.
Having been previously obsessed with brow gels and pencils, I have ditched them all together recently and am trying to be professional with an eye shadow to fill in my brows. NARS Coconut Groove is the exact shade match for my brows making it the perfect fit to give me some definition and colour. The powder is incredibly finely milled and doesn't fall down my face, once it's on the brows, it's on for good. The perfect companion for this, is my Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection Angled Liner Brush*, a new addition to my collection which turned out to be the best brush I've tried to use for my eye brows. The small, angled tip makes it incredibly easy to use and I can lightly brush through the colour, keeping it natural and not too defined.
For my lips recently I've either been keeping it simple with a gloss/balm or just adding a bit of definition with my Charlotte Tilbury Lip Liner in Pillow Talk which gives a really natural tint of colour. If I was to describe this liner to someone, it would be a 'my lips but better' shade. It's such a natural shade of pink that gives me the perfect outline, keeps them plump and hydrated.
Having recently discovered my love for The Body Shop Vitamin E range, I'm slowly expanding my collection and beginning to pick up the entire range. Having tried the night cream and fallen in love, I wanted to try a day cream and picked up the Aqua Boost Sorbet as it was said to be more hydrating and had a cooling effect. I've been testing this all week and so far, so good. My skin feels instantly hydrated and refreshed with the gel formula which gives me a burst of hydration and radiance.
