February Favourites

The love month of February certainly has delivered some serious 'fall in love with me' worthy products this year which have locked them selves in my makeup bag for a solid 4 weeks. Most of my favourites this month have been high end with some makeup entries from MAC and Benefit which I think will be making an appearance in a few more monthly favourites. I've even chucked in a hidden skincare gem from Elizabeth Arden. After a very good month of makeup for me, you better hit me with your best beauty bits March...

Benefit Worlds Famous Neutrals Kit: Adding some sparkle and sheen to my eyes is something I can't go a day without doing and a palette I have been loving for this is, is my Benefit kit. Coming with 4 powders and 2 creams, it's the perfect palette for every day and evening eyes. To add some colour to my lids all in about 10 seconds, I use the cream shades which are seriously creamy and blend-able and the powders all work beautifully together to create a sophisticated, neutral eye.  I can see this one popping up on my blog and in monthly favourites rather a lot...

MAC Cream Colour Base in Hush: If your a regular reader of my blog then you will know how much of a glowing girl I am. Highlighters are my favourite beauty product, they really transform ones skin and add something really special to your makeup. MAC have got the colour, consistency and glowiness just right with this one, paired with a cream blush, it perks up my skin and leaves me glowing all day.

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation: As you would have seen in my last two posts, here and here, Sheer Glow has been on my wish list for nearly forever now so when I was in Selfridges I had an urge take the plunge and gawd am I glad I did because this stuff is seriously good stuff. From the smooth texture, flawless finish, glowing complexion, blend-ability, build-ability, colour match, I could talk about this for hours, it's basically a 'my skin but better' foundation. NARS Sheer Glow, you will be my best friend forever.

Benefit Roller Lash: Is anyone else completely obsessed with this mascara like me?! It's been lengthening and curling my lashes for the past 4 weeks, the thin, curved wand really pulls my lashes upwards making them suuuuper long, so long in fact that people ask if I'm wearing false eye lashes! Following in 'They're Reals' footsteps, Benefit have done it again! Here is a full review of this little beauty

The Body Shop Lip Liner in Beech: My lip colour of the month has definitely been nude and browns, I have particularly been loving getting a matte lip with MAC Velvet Teddy so this liner has been the perfect match to pair with it. The Body Shop liners are smooth, pigmented and make my lipstick last that little bit longer.

Wild About Beauty Eye Shadow: A new brand discovery for me this month and a damn good one too. The shadow is so easy to wear all over the lid for a light wash of colour, you can really pack it on or use it in the crease for extra definition! This is a lovely shadow for everyday on its own and with blended with other shadows for special occasions. Click here for me talking about this product in detail and how to wear it!

Anastasia Contour Kit: It wont come as a surprise that this has made it into the favourites post, you probably all knew before reading this that it would here. Definition, structure, cheekbones and highlight in a palette, what more could a girl want? I use this most days since it arrived at my doorstep and it has transformed my routine, this one wins the award for the best beauty product I have ever invested in! If you want to see me rambling on about how wonderful this is then here it is!

Natural Collection Eye Shadow in Asteroid: I'm starting to think February has been a month of eye shadows for me... The third one in this post, really?! All have earnt a mention however and this is the most wonderful drugstore option. £1.99 for an eye shadow, yes please. A gorgeous metallic dark brown, long lasting, pigmented and affordable, buy now, thank me later.

By Terry Lip Gloss': I haven't always been a lipgloss girl but since discovering these By Terry glosses, my non lipgloss life has turned around. The sticky, gloopy gloss days are over, these are smooth, luxurious, hydrating, soft and non sticky, moisturising my lips beautifully but adding some sheer colour and lots of shine! These are so easy to apply, with or without a mirror making them perfect for touching up on the go. Oh and they are rose scented.

Avene Gel Eye Makeup Remover: Have I find the best eye makeup remover on the shelves of Boots?! I think so... Cooling, hydrating and battles any eye makeup, this is a lovely alternative to using my cleanser to remove my makeup, it takes it all off and leaves my eyes feeling refreshed ready for some eye cream and oils.

Elizabeth Arden Hydrating Mask: I am alllll for a good, hydrating mask and the cold weather has left my skin feeling dryer than usual recently so have been doing anything and everything to bring back the moisture. This mask has been my skins saviour this month, I slather it on whenever my skin is feeling dull and I need that natural glow back.
