A New Found Favourite: Bourjois CC Cream

Move over Bourjois Healthy Mix, I have a new favourite on the scene!

Every time Bourjois release a new product, they manage to get it absolutely spot on. In the recent years the heavy foundation hype as died down a lot, and lighter bases are the new thaaaang. When the BB cream was launched and nearly every brand brought one out, it was quite over whelming and I never actually found one I really liked, so stuck to tinted moisturisers. Then the CC's were launched and that's when it got really exciting. I am a bit late on the CC cream bandwagon, but since being such a massive lover of Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation, seeing the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream being featured in a lot of magazines and make up artists speaking about it, I thought it was time to see what the fuss is all about.

To kick things off I'm going to tell you about the beautiful texture of this product. This is super light weight on the skin and feels like you aren't wearing anything at all. I wear the lightest shade, which is the perfect match for me. The coverage is light to medium, so I would say it is definitely more like a foundation than a CC cream, but due to the light texture it doesn't feel heavy or cakey on the skin. I have normal to dry skin and the finish is beautiful, leaving me with a satin complexion with a touch of radiance. If you have oily skin how ever, you may find this is too dewy for you! I love how easy it is to apply as it just melts into my skin, making it a great product to use on days when you are in a rush, or want something more light weight than your usual foundation.

As it is a CC cream it does blur imperfections, colour correct any redness and smooths out my complexion completely. This has definitely made it into my category of the best bases!
