Kiko Haul
Being an absolute makeup enthusiast, when I saw that Kiko had a sale on, I obviously had to pick up not one, but 8 things! I've only ever shopped Kiko in store, so as you can imagine I was very excited ordering online and waiting for it to come! I picked up some really amazing products so keep reading to see what I got my hands on!
Golden Game Sculpting Bronzer: WAS: £15.90 NOW: £7.90. This was the product I was most excited about arriving on my door step. After seeing Lily Pebbles and Amelia Liana reviewing this as a dupe for the beautiful Charlotte Tilbury Film star Bronze and Glow, when I saw it was in the sale it was in my basket immediately. This palette is part of Kiko's 'Daring Game' release and can we all just take a moment to appreciate the packaging for this collection/palette? It is so gorgeous and makes the product seem a lot more expensive than it was! Well done Kiko. This multitasking palette includes a cool toned matte bronzer with a darker shade below and a soft champagne highlighter. I picked this up in the lightest shade, 01 Radiant Honey and the shades are perfect for my skin tone. The colours aren't overly pigmented so this is a really good bronzer to contour with as it doesn't look like your rubbed an orange streak along your face, which is not a good look! I would say the highlight shade is quite matte and not too shimmery so you still get the glow just without looking like a glitter ball! This is a handy handbag palette as you've got everything you need to contour so if you're heading out for the night but don't have time to go home to glam up your face, you can do it on the go! I recommend all of you to run to the shops or get online to order one whilst they are still available in the sale!
Daring Game Face Brush: WAS: £15.90 NOW: £7.90. It is safe to say that this is going to be included in my makeup routine every day. The bristles on the brush are so soft, and apply makeup beautifully. What I think is really special about this brush is that it has been specifically designed to follow the natural lines of your cheek bones, making contouring a whole lot easier! This is a really great brush for doing your makeup on the go as you can can do both bronzer and highlighter at the same time, meaning one less brush to carry around and more room for another product! I use the white section for my contour as I prefer to use a smaller brush to really get in the hollows of my cheeks.
Colour Up Long Lasting Eye Shadow: This is the last product I picked up from the Daring Game collection and one of my favourites. The cream shadow stick applies so well on the eye and doesn't smudge or slide around. I picked up the colour 10 Bold Rose Taupe, the colour is a really natural and is great to jazz up an every day look but still keeping it ultra neutral. For such an affordable price, if you are a fan of cream shadow sticks and aren't too keen on splashing your cash on one from high end brands then these are a really great affordable alternative.
Smart Lip Liner: £2.50. If you're into your lip liners and are looking for some high end dupes then this is the one for you. The pencils are so creamy and blend really easily on the lip, they don't smudge or bleed above your lip and have great lasting power aswell! This is the colour RoseWood, a gorgeous purple/brown. I will be picking up lots more colours in the future!
Nail Varnish: £1.50-£3.90. I've got about 4 Kiko nail varnishes now, they are so good for SUCH a cheap price, £1.50 is a real bargain. (some are £3.90 but this particular colour was in the sale) The brush is the perfect size to apply the varnish and it smooths on really easily. About 2/3 layers of this gives the perfect gloss finish.
The quality of Kiko's products is really amazing and one of my new favourite drugstore brands.
