Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich Foundation Really is Rich in Moisture

In the foundation world, we all have the perfect base in mind in terms of what finish and coverage we want to achieve. Sadly, it isn't as easy as rocking up, picking one off the shelf and there you have it, the foundation you've always wanted. It often takes a while to find one that suits you, but after going through endless bottles, you will eventually find the one you're after. For a while now, I've been looking for a light weight and light coverage foundation that gives me super juicy and glowy skin. I could only ever find foundations that gave me dewy skin but they always seemed to be medium coverage. A new discovery for me at the time, has given me just what I was after and now has a well deserved place in my favourites foundations: Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich.When I went to the Bobbi Brown counter I had the intentions to get the Luminous Foundation, but the lady suggested Moisture Rich as it would be a better colour match for me. Let me tell you why I am lovvving this foundation

It really is moisture in a bottle, when I apply it my skin instantly looks hydrated, healthy and glowing. The coverage is very sheer, so for days when my skin is feeling yuck I'll opt for a slightly higher coverage foundation, but this is perfect for the good days when I just need to even it out a little or am going for a 'no makeup, makeup' look. Bobbi Brown actually says this is a medium to full coverage foundation on the website, but after trying it, it definitely would say it is light to a build-able medium coverage. The colour range is really good, available in 14 shades, (0 Porcelain is a perfect match for me) and my preferred application for this is either with my fingers or my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. 

When I first started using this I really did get the 'wow' factor effect. Some foundations I take a while to get into, but this one I instantly loved and knew it would be sitting on my top foundation shelf for a long time. After wearing this for about a week, it had made such a difference to my skin. With no makeup on I was a lot happier with my skins appearance, I no longer had and areas of dryness, I was full of moisture and without wearing it my skin was quite literally glowing. In terms of consistency, coverage and finish, I don't have a bad word to say about this, just that the bottle has no pump!

I am so impressed with this foundation, moisture boosting, glowing and the perfect colour match. Next time you pass a Bobbi Brown counter then I really recommend trying this out or even picking one up if you don't mind paying a nasty £31 for a foundation.
